Power of One
H. Glenn Williams Power of One Awards
The H. Glenn Williams Power of One Awards were created in honor of long-time CIS supporter, community volunteer and leader H. Glenn Williams. Glenn was a beacon of light and a man of God who demonstrated his faith by example every day of his life. He was gracious and good-natured with a friendly smile and a kind word for everyone. Glenn brought joy wherever he went and found joy in everything he did, particularly in the smiles of the children he worked to help. He gave so many moments, and days and years to help people. No task was too small or too large, and Glenn always helped with incredible enthusiasm.

Glenn was an inspiration to everyone who knew him and a true example of the "Power of One”!

Poem
It only takes
one smile
to offer welcome . . .
and blessed be the person
who will share it.
It only takes
one moment
to be helpful . . .
and blessed be the person
who will spare it.
It only takes
one joy
to lift a spirit . . .
and blessed be the person
who will give it.
It only takes
one life
to make a difference . . .
and blessed be the person
who will live it.
